Venezuelans like to take the road to discover their own country. When you leave the urban areas, you can discover how huge, empty and beautiful is Venezuela: one thinks of the strange Tepuy of Guyana highlands, which inspired the Lost World of Conan Doyle. Here also landed one day Jimmy Angel, an American bush pilot, whose gave his name to the highest in the world: the Angel Falls. This fall is also not the only record of Venezuela. The famous Orinoco River ranks third in Latin America while the Andean region, peaking at 5007 m with the Pico Bolívar, has equipped the highest cable in the world.

The plains of the Llanos are the habitat of rare species such as the anaconda or the capybara.
