A nice walk in a coastal nature reserve!

My experience, Explo description:

Luitemaa Nature Reserve covers a beautiful part of south-western Estonia. Ther you can admire coastal meadows, with many bird species and trails.

In the reserve, you can climb the bird-watching towers on the coast (like here in Pulgoja) to take a look at the coastal meadows and the beautiful coastal landscape. Take the trail from the car park to reach the tower.

A bit further, you can walk in the highest dunes in Estonia, with a magnificent coastal pine forest.

My personal recommendations:

At the car park, have a look at the magnificent traditionnal wooden house. It is closed most of the time, but only looking the exterior is worth it. Once you have done this, walk to the bird watching tower and then to the sea.

How getting there:

By car. Pulgoja car park is about 3km drive (North) from Häädemeeste.

A tip to eat:

Take a pic nic!

A tip to sleep:

No place to sleep.
