A nice nature reserve aloong a nice peeble beach.

My experience, Explo description:

If you walk along the coast (less than 1km to the north), you can discover the Veczemes Cliffs, which are about 200m long and 4m high. This is a sandstone detrition cliff, with strange caves and shapes...

You can just rest close to the campsite at Mantini, where you can find some spots for camping.

The access is particularly pleasant: there are about 6km to drive on an unpaved track, in a very nice forest. Almost adventure!

My personal recommendations:

Try to take a tent and spend a night there. The forest is really pleasant.

How getting there:

About 20km south from Salacgrïva, driving on the A1 road, you will see some signs to the Veczemes cliffs. From there, you still have 6km to drive on an unpaved track.

A tip to eat:

Mantini are just a few houses. Take a picnic. Else, there is a little inn: Berzini, Salacgrivas novads, Berzini 1 / + 371 294253352 / atputa [dot] berzini [at] inbox [dot] lv
