A huge resort abandonned for 10 years now...

My experience, Explo description:

This huge resort was built during the early 2000's by an Italian real estate promoter. But in Corsica, when you want to build a resort or a villa close to the sea, you need to get before the agreement of the local nationalists (which is a kind of mafia)... I couldn't find more information about this hotel, but some locals told me it worked for 2 years, and then it was suddendly bombed... Now, you can still see the traces of the blast...

Just walk along the ruins. Beware, there are some holes in the floor. Don't fall!

Actually, I was alone when I visited it, and it was pretty scary! ;-)

Go to the impressive vestiges of the swimming pool!

A small part of the hold hotel is still in use (western part). A big wall separates the 2 sides. Beware the dogs of the guard (located in the part still in use).

My personal recommendations:

Go bathing just on the Cala Longa beach, which is just down the hotel. It is a very nice sandy beach. Not so crowded during the summer time.

How getting there:

From Bonifacio, take the D 58 to Porto Vecchio. And then the D 258 for about 4km. Just before the end of the road, make a left on a track.

There are many ways to get in. I would advise to enter through the beach side.

A tip to eat:

Take a pic nic!

A tip to sleep:

Bonifacio.

Useful information:
Open hours:

All day long...

Visit duration:

1 hour!

Entry fees:

Free. But the ruins are private and access is forbidden.

Access security:

Access is forbidden. Beware the holes and be careful with the dogs!

Hotel is one of the most

Hotel is one of the most demand lodging space when everyone travels. But we cannot deny the fact that without transportation we cannot get into our destination. Especially that holidays and summer are here everybody had just booked their trip. Just be reminded of the airfare hike that might shock you these days. Ask for financial help if you have problem with your airfare budget.
