A nice market hall.

My experience, Explo description:

The hall (halle in French) was erected in 1906.

Poussan had a big market for long. A covered hall had already been built, but was destroyed during the 19th century. It is only at the beginning of the 20th century that the city had enough money to finance the building of a new hall.

It was designed by Louis Jarre.

The hall is also sometimes used for public show and meetings.

My personal recommendations:

Markets take place on Tuesdays and Fridays (bigger on Fridays).

How getting there:

The hall is in the very heart of the old Poussan village. Hard to miss it when you go round the former ramparts.

A tip to eat:

Buy your food in the hall!
