A few hundred meters from the baroque and neo-classical splendour of Peterhof palace, this church imitates the neo-moscovite style of the 16th and 17th centuries.

My experience, Explo description:

It was built by Czar Alexander III and completed under Nicholas II in 1905.

With its 70m in height, it served during WW2 as headquarters for German artillery.

Less gleaming than the church of the Savior on the Spilled Blood, with its fairly massive aspect, it is nevertheless very interesting to visit with its polychrome brick and its red and green roofs.
