Rock-climbing-- over 70 routes-- in a beautiful waterfall setting!

My experience, Explo description:

On the fringes of Mount Jiri National Park is tiny Yongseo Village, a small farming hamlet with a waterfall tucked away. It's easily accessed on foot or by taxi from Gurye-gu Station. Head down the one road entering the village to a can't-miss orange coffee-shop/restaurant (and plan to eat or drink there-- the food is natural and delicious and the owners are welcoming. . . they also have rooms for rent if you want to spend the night! Very little English is spoken, though). Follow the trail that starts just along the coffee-shop, crossing the river and in 5 minutes the falls and surrounding climbs will come into view.

Useful information:
Open hours:

24/7, though the restaurant/minbak (homestay) may be closed seasonally.

Visit duration:

Autumn and spring are especially nice. The falls is more spectacular after it rains, but the climbing is better when it's dry.

Entry fees:
