Interesting Neo Gothic skyscraper.

My experience, Explo description:

Habaneros usually call this amazing Neo Gothic building “el edificio de la compañía de teléfonos” (the building of the telephone company). The Cuban Telephone Company inaugurated the building in September 1927. Its 62 meters above the sidewalk made it the highest building in the country.

In 1959 the Castro government nationalized the company, which is now called Empresa de Telecomunicaciones de Cuba S. A (ETECSA).

Unfortunately, it is not possible today to visit the building. You can just enter into the lobby, which is already quite interesting.

How getting there:

The building is located at the intersection of the Calle Aguila and the Avenida Dragones. Not really far from the Capitole.

A tip to sleep:

In Centro Habana! Hotel Lincoln is not so far!
