The Museum of Sciences is located on the museum square, in front of the fine arts museum. It is Venezuela's oldest museum.

My experience, Explo description:

The museum collection gathers more than 150,000 pieces : among which are stuffed animals, fossils from the archaeological and paleontological Taimataima and a wide variety of Venezuelan and African ethnographic objects.

The museum also offers various services such as temporary exhibitions, guided tours, audiovisual programming, meetings with specialists, etc..

How getting there:

Metro Bellas Artes : 2 minutes walk.

This part of the Caracas Centro is ok, but not so safe. Do not go there at night.

Useful information:

Mondays to Fridays : 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays : 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
