A wonderful Theater close to the Capitole.

My experience, Explo description: 

This building is a former Galician club and hosts the Gran Teatro de La Habana.

It was built between 1907 and 1914 whereas the theater (Teatro Tacon), with 2 000 seats, was inaugurated in 1838.

My personal recommendations: 

The best is to book a reservation for a show. About 20 CUC. Tel : 861-3077.

How getting there: 

Paseo de Marti n°458, on the West side of the Parque Central.

A tip to sleep: 

In Centro Habana. Hotel Lincoln is not very far.

Open hours: 

9am to 18pm.

Visit duration: 

30 min.

Entry fees: 

You can visit the theater for 2 CUC, from 9am to 6pm.
