Caracas oldest skycrapers... The Torres del Centro Simón Bolívar (TCSB) are also known as the El Silencio Torres.

My experience, Explo description:

These twin towers are 103m high and were built during the 50’s. They were opened on the 6th of December 1954.

The towers took the title of Venezuela’s tallest building until the construction of Parque Central Towers along the same Simon Bolivar avenue...

Now the towers host a few ministers and public buildings, whereas the district is a bit crappy...

My personal recommendations:

It is hard to get into the towers. However, you can stay on the square to admire this massive architecture. The square is also really crowded : just make a break and look at the people !

How getting there:

Metro Linea 1 / 2 : Capitollo / El Silencio. Then walk 5 minutes.

This part of the Caracas Centro is ok, but not so safe : that’s why you should take a taxi. Do not go there at night.

A tip to eat:

Is there a Mc Donald’s on the square ? Yes.
