Make a cruise on the Chao Phraya river and discover Bangkok using public ferries for less than $1...

My experience, Explo description:

The Chao Phraya river goes through Bangkok from the North to the South. Hence, the ferry service is very popular and interesting to enjoy a 1h long cruise and discover Bangkok main buildings...

My personal recommendations:

There are 3 ferry lines (Blue, Yellow, Orange), and around 30 ferry piers along the Chao Phraya river. I advise you to take the Orange line (line with the most stops). The whole trip (from North = Nonthaburi to the South = Wat Rajsingkorn) is only $1. Same price to get back. You can go up/down at any pier.

How getting there:

There are many piers along the Chao Phraya river, and you can take a ferry at almost every pier. For instance, after visiting the Royal palace, go to the close Tha Chang Wang Luang Pier.
