If you are interested in Churchill's life, or if you want to discover amazing maps and feel like in a travel out of the time back to WW2, then go to the Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms...

My experience, Explo description:

As soon as May 1940, due to German air bombings on London, Winston Churchill and his War Cabinet decided to move to these underground headquarters specially built to direct the war...

The museum is divided in 2 parts : entry tickets will admit visitors to both the Cabinet War Rooms and the Churchill Museum.

The War Cabinet :
As you will visit that monument, you will be surprised by the rooms closeness and by the quite Spartan living conditions the Cabinet had to live in... Strange to imagine that the whole power of UK dedicated to win the fight against the Nazis was concentrated there...

The Churchill museum :
The world’s most complete museum dedicated to the life of Winston Churchill.

My personal recommendations:

Plan 2h to visit the museum and to enjoy the audio visit : it will really bring you into the atmosphere of the Cabinet and Churchill’s life and you feel like getting into an underground travel out of the time !
