My experience, Explo description: 

The museum is a little house in the middle of Quebec city historic centre.

My personal recommendations: 

Don’t miss the museum impressive model (36m2 ! (400 sq. ft.)) representing the city at the 18th century. A 30mn long sound and live show will take you to a trip back into History, to discover the fierce resistance the French opposed to the British attempts to get the Capital of French Canada...
The show is really interesting and entertaining, both for children and their parents !
