An interesting place to visit to get an overlook about Nordic 19th century and modern art.

My experience, Explo description: 

The Göteborg art museum is also called Hasselblad center. It has a unique collection of works by Albert Edelfelt, P.S. Krøyer, Carl Larsson, Bruno Liljefors, Edvard Munch and Anders Zorn.

The museum imposing building was built for the international exhibition in Gothenburg 1923. Made of "Gothenburg brick" (yellow bricks frequently used in Götenborg), it was designed by architect Sigfrid Ericson, to celebrate the city’s 300th anniversary.

It nowadays represents one of the symbols of the monumental Neo-Classical style in Nordic architecture.

How getting there: 

The museum is located at the end of Göteborg’s main street : Kungsportsavenyn.

There is a bar in the museum.
