A trip into the past to discover how life was on board of a WW2 cruiser ship...

My experience, Explo description:

HMS Belfast is now the only surviving vessel of her type to have seen active service during the Second World War. It served Britain for 32 years and played an important role in both the WW2 and the Korean War, as well as performing peacekeeping duties throughout the 1950s and 1960s.

Saved from destruction in 1971, the HMS Belfast is now part of the Imperial War Museum.

The ship hosts a permanent and temporary exhibitions. A large part of the content is destined to kids and families.

My personal recommendations:

For sure, visiting the HMS Belfast is a unique occasion to discover how life was on board of a WW2 ship.
