White sandy beach, snorkeling, diving, biking, island hopping...

My experience, Explo description:

Thousand Islands or Kepulauan Seribu is part of Jakarta Special Region. Located in the Northern of Jakarta. A perfect nice getaway if you want to have a relaxing place with the view of white sandy beach with local people around. It can be reached only two hours by a wooden boat. Some islands are empty and that would be perfect place to release the boat anchor.

Pramuka Island and islands nearby :

Semak Daun Island
Kotok Besar Island
Air Island : this island has Dive Center

Tidung Island :

Tidung Besar Island
Tidung Kecil Island

Pulau Kelapa and Pulau Harapan

Kayu Angin Island
Perak Island
Putri Island
Sepa Island

My personal recommendations:

If you want to go to the nearby islands you can pay for the boat taxi there. You can rent a boat too for island hopping. You can ask the local people how to get a boat rental as well as the accommodation.

How getting there:

Go from Muara Angke Port located at Jakarta. From there you can go to those three destination by public wooden boat. Approximate 2 - 3.5 hours :

1. Destination to Tidung Island departs at 7am same goes from Tidung to Muara Angke

2. Destination to Pramuka Island departs at 7am and 1pm same goes from Pramuka to Muara Angke

3. Destination to Kelapa Island departs at 7am and 1pm same goes from Pramuka to Muara Angke

A tip to eat:

Lots of local food stalls that sell affordable food or you can ask local people to cook the food for you and you will have to pay the price as it is agreed.

A tip to sleep:

Lots of hostels and local home stays offered there. You can do camping too there.
