King Bhumibol is passionate about photography. This small museum displays some of the photos he has made.

My experience, Explo description:

The King Bhumibol is interested in all the aspects of photography, including cinematography production. He had his first camera at the age of 8.

During his frequent visits to provinces, the King is always seen with his camera, and takes many pictures, for him, or for a documentation purpose.

The museum is divided in 2 halls.

My personal recommendations:

After your visit, you can stroll in the Dusit park and visit other museums, like the Royal Elephant National Museum, The Ananda Samakhom Throne Hall, or the famous Vimanmek Mansion !

How getting there:

The museum is located in 2 little buildings, about 50m north from the Vimanmek Mansion : HRH Princess Bussaban Bua-phan Residence (Hall 1) and HRH Princess Arun-wadi Residence (Hall 2)

Useful information:
Open hours:

Like the Vimanmek Royal Mansion from 09.30 to 16.00 daily.

Visit duration:

45mn.

Entry fees:

Entrance to the museum is coupled with the ticket to visit the Vimanmek Mansion ($4).

If you have a ticket for the Grand Palace, then admission to the Vimanmek Mansion is free. But it does not work in the other sense.
