One of the most famous modern art museum in the world.

My experience, Explo description:

Despite the museum is really famous and welcomes many visitors, its ambiance is very intimist. Visiting Lousiana is like walking in a nice garden, while looking nice statues and exhibitions.

The museum’s permanent collection of modern art with over 3000 works is one of the biggest in Scandinavia.

My personal recommendations:

Have a break at the museum café. You will have an amazing "artistic" view over the garden and the sea...

How getting there:

Gl. Strandvej 13
DK-3050 Humlebæk

By car : many parkings. From Copenhagen, take the E47-E55 north to Humlebæk
By train : the Humlebæk train station is about 500m (S) from the museum.

A tip to eat:

At the museum café of course...

A tip to sleep:

You can’t sleep in the museum garden, except for a nap. ;-)

I have been there a few times. It's always a pleaseure to enjoy arts in this great and quiet environment. The seaside in the backyard - relax and let the arts sink in while you take a deep breath of fresh sea air!
