Lost bunkers in the middle of the "garrigue" bushes and olive trees...

My experience, Explo description: 

This dozen of bunkers are located close to the Salon de Provence military air field. These were built by the Germans during WWII to prevent the air field from air attacks.

This site is absolutely unknown, so it remains well preserved, what is usually rare, because most of German vestiges of bunker in the area have been destroyed or degraded.

My personal recommendations: 

Make a walk around among the olive trees and go to the old straight away Roman road 500m to the north

How getting there: 

By car from Lançon de Provence (4km east) or from the D17 road between Salon de Provence and Pélissanne. Lançon de Provence is about 10km (SE) from Salon de Provence.

A tip to sleep: 

You can lodge in Salon de Provence.

Open hours: 

All day long.

Visit duration: 

15 minutes.

Entry fees: 

Free. The place is abandoned, but please respect property of neighbouring houses.
