Don't leave Saint-André if you have not visited this interesting house!

My experience, Explo description:

The Martin-Valliamé house hosts the Saint-André tourism office.

This villa is classified as a national historic monument : it is indeed a good example of the creole architecture, mixing both India-Mauritius elements with European Art Déco style elements.

My personal recommendations:

Ask for a guided tour... The visit will be much more interesting !

How getting there:

Maison Martin Valliamé, 1590, chemin du Centre 97440 Saint-André

The house stands 1km North from the city centre, on the right side of the highway.

A tip to eat:

Au petit coin exotique (see "A tip to sleep").
