This refuge hosts Condors that have been wounded, to bring them back to the wild life.

My experience, Explo description: 

There is also a little information centre to learn about the program to reintroduce the condor to Venezuela.

The refuge is also a starting point for a walk into the mountains.

My personal recommendations: 

The ambiance is a little bit hard : the cages are too small for such big vultures ! But this is a unique occasion to approach such mythical birds.

How getting there: 

From Apartaderos, take the Road N°7, and follow the signs.
