A former convent and its bell tower transformed into military museum…

My experience, Explo description: 

In this museum, you can discvoer the history and objects of the fightings between pro and anti revolutionaries in the region of Trinidad during 1960 and 1965.

Have a look at the « Lancha Pirata », an armoured speed boat used by the anti revolutionary forces. The boat was equiped with 2 machine guns.

Have a look at the parts of a U2 spy plane shot in october 1962.

My personal recommendations: 

Go up to the top of the bell tower to enjoy the view over the city.

How getting there: 

The museum is in the city center. Calle Echerri n°59.

A tip to eat: 

No food in the museum.
