A little contemporary art museum, located in an interesting open air building.

My experience, Explo description: 

The Museo de Arte Moderno Juan Astorga Anta is located in the same building as the Tulio Febres Cordero Cultural Centre.

It was founded in 1969 and was the first of its kind in a Venezuelan city outside Caracas.

The building is a modern 5 storey concrete building, with an interesting network of stairs and viewpoints. Nearly 350 drawings, sculptures, photographs, paintings and unconventional art objects of Venezuelian artists are displayed in rooms located on each floor of the building.

My personal recommendations: 

The description of the museum is tempting. But unfortunately, I have to confess that I was a bit disappointed, because the museum is quite dirty, and there were not so many interesting works to see...
