In Niha (Lebanon), there are 2 antique sites.

My experience, Explo description:

First site : just in the north of the village

2 old Roman temples (one of them is very well conserved and was probably dedicated to the Syro-Phénician god Hadaranès). An antique stairs enable us to reach the summit of the temple, what is quiet rare in old temples. Many lion sculptures.

Second site : 3km in the north of the village

The Niha fortress. Ruins of 2 roman temples and ruins of a byzantine church.

In the middle of no-where...

How getting there:

Niha is located 10km in the north of Zahle. In the road for Chtaura, take First road left after Ablah. First site is located just in the North of the Niha village. Second site is located 3km in the north of the Niha village. Easy to find, just follow the road.
