My favorite in Cienfuegos. A dance school in an old blue palace half in ruins. Music, dance, empty rooms and majesty. On the top roof, you can stay on a terrace, with a perched cupola overlooking the entire city.

My experience, Explo description: 

The former Neo Classical palace « Palacio de Ferrer » (1918) stands on the west side of Parque Marti. Abandoned, it now hosts the Casa de la Cultura Benjamin Duarte.

Each evening, from 17pm, some dance classes take place in the empty rooms the palace, which comes back to life.

Go there in the evening from 16pm. The atmosphere is incredible. Have a walk around the rooms, admire the moldings, the tiles and mirrors that reflect the obsolescence of place.

Then climb to the terrace to admire the city.

My personal recommendations: 

Do not forget to climb up the amazing iron dome. View over the city. Warning to those who are prone to vertigo!

The palace is located on the Parque Jose Marti (Avenida 54 and Calle 25).

I have heard this building might be renovated soon, but I am not sure yet. But for sure, this is time now to visit it!!
