Roque of Nubio, 1,817m.

Start at the small "Degollada Blanca" parking. During the climb, you will see opposite from the "Roques" : 2 huge monoliths. The tallest is 80m high. There, you can exercise free climbing.

Arrived at the pass, it is recommended that you go to the Nubio Roque in round-trip (3/4 time) and then follow the loop that circles the "Roques" monoliths.

The island culminates the Pico de las Nieves (1,949m), that can be reached directly by car. Clouds often accumulate in these central areas, which are therefore very green. Therefore, wait for a thinning to mount up there : the show is worth it.

To recover from these efforts, resume to the car to go up to Tejeda, 15km to the North. There is a traditional and interesting pastry, called Dulceria Nublo Tejeda, which cooks several chestnuts, almonds and chocolate specialities. You should absolutely taste the "Bienmesabe" (mixture of honey and almonds).

In addition, Tejeda is a pretty perched village and you should walk on its small streets to admire the houses and the landscape.
