The monastery of Brou is a typical Flamboyant Gothic style of the 16th century.

My experience, Explo description:

Marguerite of Austria order the construction of the monastery after the death of her segond husband, Philibert II, Duke of Savoy. Philibert II dies three years after her second wedding. The monastery was built between 1506 and 1532.

In the church, marble sculpture of Marguerite and Philibert. Their body lay down and beside, their saoul too.

Roof of the church is typical of this land

Many old objects from the monastery are in the corridors

A modern art exposition is in the room for fans
