Just south of the Marina, you can discover a curious little oval shaped ruined palace, overlooking the sea.

My experience, Explo description: 

The Malecon and Punta Gorda was once the upper class neighborhood of Cienfuegos. The rich have built many colorful and kitsch neo classical palaces there, which are now a joy to visit.

Not far from the ruined palace, go for a stroll in the Parque de Esculturas, which brings together dozens of statues, all more curious than the others. Rather than a park with statues, I would say it is a park with oddities!

My personal recommendations: 

During the day, it is not possible to enter, because the palace is located in the courtyard of a school. But in the evening ...

How getting there: 

Avida 6. At the end of the street (West).

A tip to eat: 

There is a little shop where you can but something.

Cienfuegos!
