A lovely and colourful Tamil temple standing on a beach...

My experience, Explo description:

On the North-East side of the Réunion island, you can visit many Hindu temples. The Sainte-Suzanne temple is a lonely little one standing on a beach. A nice visit !

Close to the temple, you can visit the Grand Hazier agriculture domain.

My personal recommendations:

If you are interested in Hindu temples, do not miss the "Colosse" temple (see related visit article).

How getting there:

From Saint-André, take the road going to Saint-Denis. Leave the road when at Saint-Suzanne, that you will cross driving on the D51 in direction to Bel Air. Once in Bel Air, take the first on the right, going directly to Grand Hazier.

From Grand Hazier, instead of turning right back to Bel-Air, go straight. Go under the highway. And then leave your car 50m further.

A tip to eat:

The place is nice. You can take a picnic ! And have a break on the beach.

A tip to sleep:

In Saint-André : "au petit coin exotique" inn. 460 ruelle Virapatrin.

This is a lovely inn owned by M. and Ms. Patou-Parvedy. Tel :02 62 46 46 07 leoncepatou-parvedy [at] wanadoo [dot] fr

The cooking is excellent.
