Just opposite from the Canaima beach, a huge waterfall...

My personal recommendations:

Stay at the beach. Beware if you go swimming, there are a lot of water streams...

How getting there:

The visit of this waterfall will be included in your tour.

Most of the people visit Canaima and the waterfalls with the help of a tour agency. It is easier because usually you have to organize a flight to go to Puerto Ordaz or Ciudad Bolivar (but a night bus is better because you will arrive very early, and then you can catch the planes to Canaima, which leave also very early), then take a small plane to reach Canaima Camp, find a location there (and it is often crowded), get a boat to go up to Salto Angel and the different waterfalls, and back...

For 3 days and 2 nights, all included, from Caracas, I paid around $300. This is not the cheapest price. If you plan it in advance, you can maybe pay "only" $200.

My tour Operator was Quo Vadis : +58 212 206 5200. You can also try with Kavac tour.
