A nice stroll along different Californians tree essences...

My experience, Explo description:

In the garden, you can follow 2 rather short trails (0.5 mile each), among which one goes along a small river, with the vestiges of the dam of the Santa Barbara mission.

My personal recommendations:

Go there in the morning. It is rather curious because Santa Barbara mornings are often quite foggy, what brings a nice impression to the garden. At around midday, the sky gets free, and the garden will appear to you under a completely different sunny vision.

How getting there:

The Botanic garden is about 1 mile (N) form the Mission and 100 miles from LA.
From LA : Take US405 North to US101 West. Remain on US101 into Santa Barbara. Exit on Mission Street, turn to the North (right) Continue up Mission Street until it ends at Laguna St. (about 1 mile). Turn left on Laguna. The Mission is straight ahead 2 blocks.
From the Mission : go north on the Mission Canyon rd (0.5M), then make a right on Foothill rd (0.2M) and a left on mission canyon road.

A tip to eat:

There is a café in the garden.

A tip to sleep:
