After hours of driving in the desert here you are in this "island " of life...

My experience, Explo description: 

Siwa is a very attractive place close to Alexandria, well connected by local bus.
It’s an autonomous spot between the sand

The clear water springs

The olive and palm groves

You can easily rent a bike and go around this flat area

Is very close to Lybia and... you can rent a mule to move around !!

My personal recommendations: 

The Berbers living here (blonde hair and light blue eyes)

By bus from Alexandria

Local food is very good

There are many budget hotels
