An interesting place to visit for those who want to see a fishing port.

My experience, Explo description:

Skärhamn is on the north west side of the Tjörn island. This island is linked to the mainland by a bridge. So it is easy to drive to Skärhamn.

A quite ambiance, with all the little white and red houses overlooking the port and its boats.

For amateurs, there is an aquarel museum.

My personal recommendations:

Once you are at Tjörn island bridge (Stenungsund), to drive further north on the 160 to Norway. This road goes along the coast. You can stop in many different lovely little villages and fjords.

How getting there:

E6 north from Göteborg to Stenungsund. Then 160 to cross the Tjörn bridge. And then the 169, west (20 km to go).

A tip to eat:

A few fish restaurants on the port.
