A lovely and so old fashion theater.

My experience, Explo description: 

This wonderful theater was built from 1887 to 1889 in tribute to Tomas Terry, who was a Venezuelan businessman. The auditorium, decorated with Carrara marble, carved with woodwork and hand-frescoed ceiling, contains 950 seats.

All the big names in Cuban dance and music did perfome on its stage.

Have a walk around in the aisles, do not hesitate to climb up to the top floors and to install in a private box.

Make a break at the nice little bar adjacent to the theater.

You can ask for a guided tour.

My personal recommendations: 

Go there for a theatre show. Tickets are sold every day from 11am to 15pm and 1.5h before the show.

How getting there: 

On the Parque Jose Marti. Av 56 n°270 (between Calle 27 and 29).
