The Turning Torso tower is not an original or hidden place: with a 190m height, this is Malmö new symbol and you can see it kilometres around... But this tower is nice, so it is worth just having a little look at it.

Explo History and Description: 

Turning Torso was designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. It was opened on 27 August 2005 to re-establish a recognizable skyline for Malmö since the removal of the Kockums Crane in 2002. This large crane (used for shipbuilding) was somewhat a symbol of the city’s blue collar roots.

The tower reaches a height of 190 metres (623 feet) with 54 stories. It is the tallest building in Scandinavia.
