A very interesting villa by the beauty of the Tiepolo frescoes and the magnificent trees in the park.

My experience, Explo description:

In 1734 Nicolas Loschi, a nobleman of Vicenza, had its manor renovated by the architect Francesco Muttoni.

Later, the villa was acquired by the Count Zileri Dal Verme.

Recently, it became the property of the Montecastello PLC firm.

High Standing apartments are for rent. The main body of the villa is occupied by a firm of architects, by which we need to move to the visit the frescoes (www.studiomotterle.com).

Inside, you can observe beautiful frescoes that adorn the grand staircase and the main room. These frescoes were realized by Giambattista Tiepolo during its maturity phase : he was 40 years old, and painted these frescoes in three months of intensive work.

The ceiling of the grand staircase shows a theme that Tiepolo will resume at the Villa Maggiore Montecchio Cordellina : "The time unveils the truth". The time is represented as an old winged man raising a white cloth, uncovering a nude woman, extended on a cloud.

All topics are allegorical scenes glorifying the civic virtues of its sponsor.

You will be sized seized by the vividness of compositions and the freedom of colours.

The park (free access for the public, juxtaposes flowery grounds and framed lawns, with rare and beautiful trees, especially in the fall.

How getting there:

The villa and the park are very well signalized and easy to find.

However, there is no indication the entry to visit inside. You should not hesitate to return to the loggia (under the arches) to request access to the architecture firm and take tickets.
