Wang Dong stone quarries, Kanchanaburi

The area is renowned for its odd stones quarries (you can see them, north, in the mountains). The huge stone blocks (up to 4m !) have natural weird animal shapes. Most of these stones are used to decorate parks.

Along the 3199 road, you can stop in numerous stores and buy such a stone... This might be a little bit heavy to carry back home... Maybe it is a better idea to buy just a stone table or a chair ! ;-)
